OR and agriculture

As an amateur vegetable gardener, I have occasionally wondered how to use OR when gardening.  The November issue of Operational Research apparently answers my questions.  This special issue of Operational Research contains several articles about OR and agriculture.  How cool!  I hope to find some time to peruse some of the articles.
